How We Cultivate the Feminist Ecosystem in Israel and the U.S.

February 11, 2025

As we mark Tu Bishvat, the Jewish “birthday” of the trees, the Hadassah Foundation acknowledges the many gender-equity initiatives that we have helped seed and cultivate in our first 25 years of grantmaking.

Amidst these turbulent days, we pause to honor the many “seedling” organizations that have been funded by the Hadassah Foundation, along with deep-rooted ones that are leading the way for women and girls in Israel and the U.S. Jewish community.. Like trees, the organizations funded by the Hadassah Foundation need our nurturing to grow, and in turn, they provide us with needed sustenance and a brighter future. Learn more about all our current and past grant recipients here.

This year, you can join us on TuBishvat with a gift to help the feminist ecosystem flourish.

Wishing you a joyous holiday!
