Grant Categories
Core Grants: United States
For leading organizations and programs that promote gender equity in the U.S. Jewish community, these $120,000 grants are awarded over three years.
In 2026, the Hadassah Foundation will award grants of $120,000 each to three U.S.-based organizations. Grants will be paid out over three years ($40,000 each year). Organizations must have annual budgets between $200,000 (U.S. dollars) and $5 million.
- Request for proposals will be published on May 20.
- Applications due July 7.
- Week of September 14: Interviews with finalists
- October 15: All applicants will be notified of funding decisions

Spark Grants
Awarded to innovative organizations in early stages of development that are addressing a gap in the field of gender equity, these grants are for $20,000 paid over an 18-month period.
In 2026, the Hadassah Foundation will award grants of $20,000 each to three organizations. Both Israeli and U.S.-based organizations will be invited to apply. Grants will be paid out in two installments of $10,000 each. Organizations must meet both of these criteria:
• Have an organization budget of $500,000 or less (in U.S. dollars), AND
• Been in existence for 10 or fewer years.
Grantmaking schedule:
- Request for proposals will be published in mid-July.
- Application deadline: September 9
- Late November: Interviews with finalists
- December 15: All applicants notified of funding decisions
Core Grants: Israel
For leading organizations and programs that promote gender equity in Israel, these $120,000 grants are awarded over three years.
In 2026, applications are by invitation only and decisions will be made in mid-June. Grants will be announced publicly in September. The Hadassah Foundation will award grants of $120,000 each to four Israeli organizations. Grants are paid out over three years ($40,000 each year).
