2025 Grantmaking Schedule

In 2025, the Hadassah Foundation will issue three open requests for proposals (RFPs). The tentative dates are:

Grant Categories

Core Grants: Israel

For leading organizations and programs that promote gender equity in Israel, these $80,000 grants are awarded over three years.

In 2025, the Hadassah Foundation will award grants of $80,000 each to five Israeli organizations. Grants are paid out over three years ($30,000 in the first year; $30,000 in the second year, and $20,000 in the final year.) Organizations must have annual budgets between $200,000 (U.S. dollars) and $5 million. Tentative grantmaking schedule:

 

  • February: Request for proposals published.
  • April: Interviews with finalists.
  • June: All applicants notified of funding decisions.
  • August: First grant payments.

(The Hadassah Foundation did not issue an open request for proposals for Core Israel grants in 2024.) Please note that this is NOT a current request for proposals, but a sample. We will not accept proposals for Core Israel grants until an official announcement is made, and proposals must be submitted through our grants management system.

Grants will be paid out over three years ($30,000 in the first year; $30,000 in the second year; and $20,000 in the final year.) Spark Grants

Awarded to innovative organizations in early stages of development that  are addressing a gap in the field of gender equity, these grants are for $20,000 paid over an 18-month period. 

In 2025, the Hadassah Foundation will award grants of $20,000 each to four organizations. Both Israeli and U.S.-based organizations will be invited to apply. Grants will be paid out in two installments of $10,000 each. Organizations must meet at least one of these criteria:

• Have an organization budget of $500,000 or less (in U.S. dollars), OR
• Been in existence for 10 or fewer years.

Tentative grantmaking schedule:

  • June: Request for proposals published.
  • July: Deadline for completed proposals.
  • October: Interviews with finalists.
  • December: All applicants notified of funding decisions.
  • February 2026: First grant payments.
