There continue to be too many stories of sexual harm and violence moving in and out of the headlines. As a Jewish community, we have an obligation to care for the survivors among us – to participate in their healing and protect them from even more harmful secondary trauma. How can we center the needs of survivors and address sexual harm in our community – as individuals, and as a community – even despite our fears of rising antisemitism? What do we gain when we center survivors and address harm as a community?
