Accepting Proposals for 2026 Core U.S. Grants

May 20, 2026

The Hadassah Foundation is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) from organizations based in the United States with annual budgets between $250,000 and $5 million (U.S. dollars) that work through a gender lens, are creating social change, and strengthen the leadership capacity and role of self-identifying women and girls in the U.S. Jewish community.

As part of a larger effort to grow our grantmaking, we have increased the size of our Core grants to $120,000 paid over three years. These grants will be awarded to three organizations that work to build a future in which women and girls live safer lives as fully participating members and leaders of their societies and communities. (Core Israel applications in 2026 were by invitation only, and decisions will be announced in September.)

Applications must be completed on Submittable by 12 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

Priority will be given to initiatives that utilize one or more of these key strategies:

  • Collective approaches that promote collaboration among organizations or networks, leveraging their shared resources, expertise, and influence.
  • Integration of research and advocacy to implement data-driven strategies that enhance the understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by women and girls, and to promote policy changes that are in line with these findings.
  • Community education and empowerment to raise public awareness and encourage collective action for the advancement of women’s rights and gender equity.

Grants are for program-based or unrestricted support. For more information on Core U.S. grants, eligibility, and the application process, please view the RFP.  Please note that the PDF version of the application questions that is included with the RFP is for reference purposes only. All proposals must be completed on Submittable.
