The Hadassah Foundation is pleased to welcome two new board members: Lisa Haynor of Atlanta, Georgia, and Buffie Longmire-Avital of Greensboro, North Carolina; as well as our two inaugural Fellowship Directors: Shanie Reichman of New York City and Elizabeth Slotnick of Mountainside, New Jersey.

The new board fellowship program gives training and hands-on Board experience to accomplished women who are early in their careers or may have limited experience with non-profit Board service. The Hadassah Foundation added the Board Fellowship program to diversify the board, continue development of a leadership pipeline for the future, and help ensure that the legacy of the Foundation continues and remains relevant for generations.

Lisa Haynor was a practicing CPA for over 40 years, working primarily with professional service businesses. She assisted with business planning, merger considerations, and projections, as well as the standard accounting and tax services. In her retirement, she continues to serve on the finance committee and board of The Alfred and Adele Davis Academy. She is a board member, chair of the finance committee and treasurer of Jewish Home Life, and was recently asked to be on the finance committee of Momentum.
