Request for Proposals from Modest-Size or Early-Stage Organizations

June 23, 2025

The Hadassah Foundation is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for our 2025-26 Spark Grants. These general operating grants are awarded to early-stage or modest-size organizations in Israel or the United States. We seek to support innovative organizations in their early stages of development that are addressing a gap in the field of gender equity in Israel or the U.S. Jewish community and that utilize a gender lens throughout their work.

Eligibility: Organizations must have a budget of $500,000 or less (in U.S. dollars) and/or have been in existence for 10 or fewer years. Proposals will also be accepted from initiatives that are independent projects of larger organizations or institutions only if the initiative does not receive financial support (not including in-kind support) from the larger organization in which they are legally or structurally associated.

Grant proposals will be accepted until 12 p.m. ET on Monday, July 28, 2025. Download the complete request for proposals and application questions here.

For more information on Spark Grants, eligibility, and the application process, please view the RFP. Please note that the application questions on the RFP are for reference purposes only. All proposals must be completed on Submittable.

We anticipate awarding four Spark Grants of $20,000 each. Grants are for general operating expenses. The grant cycle is 18 months, beginning in February 2026 and ending in July 2027.
